Jammin' with the Pollard's

Angela is a friend of mine and fellow photographer (see Diamondheart Photography) so we have swapped services to get family photos done for each other.  The day we did her shoot we were both texting each other saying, "Where'd the sun go?"  We found a cute little spot off the side of the road and it turned out to be the perfect location.  Later, she said it looked they were at the beach, which I agree.  The hazy clouds were SO pretty and pink, contrasted with the green and brown of the grasses, it was so warm and yummy looking!

I love the expressions in this one, so cute!

As fellow photographers, we joke about "asking" for a pose or certain shot, and this was Angela's request, which I love anyway! :)

Class of 2013::Maria

I remember Maria emailing me about doing her senior photos and if I minded working with horses?  Do I MIND???? Heck no!!!  I'd never gotten the chance to do that before so I love a new challenge.  We lucked out with a gorgeous fall evening at the stables where she practices riding.  I met her horse Micki, who was SO sweet and we got started.  I got some advice from other seasoned photographers about photographing horses so as not to alert or startle them.  Micki got a tad tired (she's an ol' gal) so we headed to a field FILLED with other horses which made for some amazing images.  I hope you enjoy my little adventure!!!

 This is one of my favorite images...don't really know why, but it's so carefree and impromptu, just love!

She was so natural and at ease around the animals, she just belonged there! 

Even I got to "model" with the stallion. :)
