A Night at the Cathedral::The Sholes Family

I've known Stacey about 6 years now, we play on the same (awesome) volleyball team in a Portland league. When she asked me to do photos of her family, I knew it'd be fun, because I'm always laughing when I'm around her.  She said they hadn't had family photos done since she and her sister were little kids.  Well, you're overdue.  We shot in a new location for me, and it lived up to it's name, Cathedral Park.  Just look at the structures of the bridge, isn't it gorgeous?  I will definitely be revisiting that site.  In the meantime, enjoy some photos from their session!

Mom and Dad, together 54 years!

Steffanie and her beau, Anthony, but pretty much, he's just one of the bunch. :)

This cracks me up.  I told Stacey to make herself laugh, and here's what I got....BUT....
....then I got this because she couldn't help laughing at how silly she felt.  If that's what it takes. :)

We Have an Announcement::The Roberts Bunch

Amanda and Ross wanted these few photos taken to announce to their family and friends that they were once again adding to their brood.  Such a cute idea.  I showed for this super mini shoot and they told me they hadn't even told their kids yet.  So I said, "Ok, wait, I wanna see their reaction when you tell them!"  So mom and dad lined them up in their chairs and told them, "You see that extra chair?  You're going to have another brother or sister!!!"  And...wait for it....crickets!!!! So funny!  The kids were like, And, what's you're point?  I was laughing so hard.  Maybe they didn't hear?  Anyway, I'm sure the news has sunk in by now.  Congratulations to yet another beautiful baby!

Farm Girls::The Hoksbergen's

Here's a little shoot from my personal life.  Every year I go and visit my high school friend, Jennifer, and her ever growing family.  Between the two of us we have 7 kids, a dog, some cats and maybe a cow! :)  She lives on a farm in Lynden near the Canadian border and we just send our troops outside to play while we visit all day long.  It's so kick back and relaxing.  While there, she asked if I could snap a few updated photos for her.  OF COURSE!!!  These little beauties are so fun, just like their mama!  I love having friends from all walks of life, ones that have known me forever, and even though we only see each other once a year, we can just pick right back up where we left off!  Those are the forever friends! :)

Spunky little Brooklyn!  She kept us on our toes!

Free spirit Sophie!  She's so cute, playing with bugs, digging in the dirt, this girl is always in her own little imaginary world! :)

Twins Taylor and Kennedy! NOTHING alike. :) Isn't that how it goes?

Take charge Kennedy is the older of the two, showing off her missing teeth!

Sweet and compliant Taylor, reminds me so much of my daughter Reagan! :)

How I managed to coerce Jenn into a photo I'll never know.  It was super windy and cold (thank you for the summer, Northwest).

And just a few candids of our kids all together!

They look more like sisters than the sisters do.
Love you all to the moon and back, thank you for always welcoming us to your home!  We look forward to it every year! Miss you already!  Love, Koren
