::Presley is 1!::

Such a beautiful and sweet family this was!  Little Presley was kind of serious at first, feeling me out and figuring that I wasn't too scary. :)  Her gorgeous blue eyes were SO big and pretty!  I love the colors that, especially, mom wore, it really popped against the pre-spring landscape!  Happy Birthday, Presley (love that name)!

See? I'm very serious, but I'm so cute that it doesn't really matter. ;)

I love this one of mom and daughter!

NOW we're smiling!

Mom Janna had such gorgeous eyes, yowza!

Have a great day!  xoxo koren

::The Ubel Family::

Jessica and I met in my very first days as a college Freshman at Multnomah Bible College.  I remember her and another friend of ours, Chris, rushing up to me in the school cafeteria and asking me if I played volleyball.  They were desperately trying to recruit players.  Luckily, I was already planning on trying out for the team, and they were just tickled that they had found me, or at least found someone tall.  Later that week during tryouts, Jessica was so sweet and encouraging to me, a shy and frightened 18 year old.  I loved playing with her that year, getting to know her and making a wonderful friend.  Now, 15 years later, we both have families of three and married our college sweethearts.

I coupled a little visit to see her with a quick family shoot on the Oregon Ducks campus in Eugene.  Again, it's so fun to share my love for photography with my love for my friends! :)

Love you, friend.  And love your sweet family!  xoxo koren

Project.12::Doors & Windows::a day in my life

I've never participated in a "big" project before and this one interested me so I thought I'd give it a whirl.  I love sites that cause you to grow and learn from other photographers all the while not making you feel inadequate about your own work.  There is no "wrong" answer!

Project.12 is one of those great groups, and this month's theme was "Windows and Doors".  The trick is that it has to be your OWN family, no clients. Incorporate your home, family and pets (if possible).  That was rough! :)  Mine kind of turned out more as a "day in the life" sequence more so than an actual shoot!  Enjoy!

Jordan enjoying some "peekaboo" play in the curtains.

Jill:: I'm soooo regal!
